Privacy policy

At Home Recovery collects the details you give us, such as your name, phone number, email and delivery address, to arrange your rental and keep you safe while using our equipment.

How we use it

We use your details to take your booking and payment, deliver and collect the gear, send you texts about your rental (like a pickup reminder the day before), and sometimes ask for a Google review. We only send you offers or news if you've said yes, and you can opt out any time.

Who helps us

We never sell your details. We use a few trusted services to run the business, and they only get what they need:

• Stripe, to take card payments. We never see or store your card number.
• A secure booking database (Supabase), hosted in Sydney, Australia.
• A New Zealand text message service (TNZ), to send your rental texts.
• Google, for email.

We may also share information where the law requires it.

Health and safety information

Any health or incident details you tell us are used only to manage health and safety, stored securely and kept for 2 years unless the law requires longer.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for 7 years, because New Zealand tax law requires it. Everything is stored securely.
